URGENT NOTICE REGARDING AQUATIC

MWJBL have been advised the new Warringah Council have informed Netball that Aquatic Reserve has been sited as a relocation option for their sport.  This has occurred despite approved work to upgrade Netball facilities at Curl Curl already having commenced in readiness for 2009.  Council have halted all work in progress.

HELP IS NEEDED TO STOP THIS UNFAIR PROPOSAL PROGRESSING

The Sporting Union, Netball Association, MWJBL and Manly Warringah senior Baseball entities all firmly oppose and are meeting on Monday afternoon with Council for discussion.  This proposal is inadequate for Netball and a travesty for all junior and senior Baseball players and supporters of our sport.

THIS MATTER WILL BE PRESENTED AT A PUBLIC MEETING ON MONDAY 1st DECEMBER AT THE DEE WHY COUNCIL CHAMBERS COMMENCING AT 7.00pm

PLEASE ACTIVELY SUPPORT THIS CAUSE WITH YOUR ATTENDANCE AND SEND A FIRM MESSAGE TO COUNCIL THAT AQUATIC SHOULD BE RETAINED AS THE HOME GROUND FOR BASEBALL IN MANLY WARRINGAH.
